Namo HospitalLodwar

Gynaecology and maternity

From a first check-up to a first birth, and every year after.

Women come to us at every stage of life: a first check-up in their teens, a pregnancy, a birth, and the years long after. You see the same team each time, so you are not starting your story from the beginning at every visit. Theatre is staffed through the night, which matters when a baby decides to arrive at three in the morning.

What this covers

  • Routine gynaecological examination and screening
  • Antenatal care and delivery
  • Postnatal care for mother and baby
  • Family planning advice
  • Menopause care

When to come in

If any of these sound like you, book a visit. If you are unsure, call and reception will point you to the right clinic.

  • You think you may be pregnant, or you are due for an antenatal visit
