Heart conditions
Cardiology is the branch of internal medicine concerned with disorders of the heart. It covers the diagnosis and treatment of conditions ranging from congenital heart defects to hypertension and heart failure. Namo Hospital runs ECG and echocardiography on site, and holds a monthly specialist cardiology clinic.

Children's health

Digital X-ray and ultrasound are available on site and support every other department in the hospital. Imaging is what allows a doctor in Lodwar to make an accurate diagnosis in the same visit, rather than sending a patient several hundred kilometres for a scan.

Laboratory
Tests and diagnostics
The laboratory runs the tests the rest of the hospital depends on, and it does so at any hour. Equipment includes a smart biosystem analyser. Accurate results, available quickly, are the difference between treating a patient and guessing.
